When you need help: let support in directly
If something gets stuck, you don't have to untangle it alone. Service Mode is a safe, temporary way to let support reach me directly — through a one-time 6-digit code. They can see my logs and settings and fix them, but they can't reach your files, mail or passwords. You see every step, and you end it whenever you like.
What Service Mode is
Normally nobody outside can reach me — Service Mode is off. You turn it on only while support is actively helping you. I generate a 6-digit code you read out to them; for the time you set, it opens access to my logs and settings. When it expires, or when you press End, the access closes on its own.
How to turn it on — step by step
- Open Settings (the gear icon, top right). You can type "service" in the search box.
- Find the "Service Mode (Remote Support)" section.
- Set the Duration (min) — e.g. 60.
- Click "Start Service Mode".
- Read the 6-digit code out to your support contact.
What support sees — and what it doesn't
- Can see and fix: my logs and settings.
- Cannot reach: your documents, mail or passwords.
- You see every step, the whole time.
- End the session anytime with the "End" button.
- It expires on its own after the time you set.
When you're done
Once it's sorted, press "End" — or simply let the session expire. Either way, we're back to the default: nobody outside can reach me.
You decide when and for how long — and you watch the whole time. Support helps; your privacy stays yours.
We're here when you need us
Turn on Service Mode and we'll help directly — or reach out and we'll sort it together.
